I named the cake after my lovely sister-in-law Elvira. Easy amazing NO BAKE Chocolate cake.
- 500 g any biscuits
- 1 cup of prunes without seeds
- 1 cup of nuts (I like walnuts)
- 100 g of sugar
- 1 tsp of vanilla
- 1 cup of milk
- ½ cup of cacao powder
- 200g unsweetened butter
300g of dark chocolate
½ cup heavy cream
Break the biscuits into random pieces by hand –they can be as large or small as you would like.
Cut the prunes into 4-6 pieces-if the prunes are tough you can put them in water for an about 10-15 minutes to help soften them.
Ground the nuts in a food processor or manually.
In a pot add the milk, vanilla, and cocoa together, warm until they are mixed well.
Then quickly add the butter to the pot and mix until the mixture is uniform.
Add the previously prepared items from steps 1&2 and mix together well.
Place into your preferred form.
Melt the heavy cream with the chocolate until uniform.
Cover the cake with the icing and spread until even.
Put into a cold place, and let it sit for a day.
